Curriculum

The PhD in Neuroscience encompasses graduate coursework, a qualifying examination, research, and a dissertation with defense.

In addition to research, the academic program includes participation in various courses. Over six semesters, the curriculum features the lecture “From Molecules to Cognition”, practical and methodological courses, seminars, journal clubs, and soft skills training (e.g., presentation and management skills). All courses are conducted in English and to an extent can be structured individually.

  7. Research

Each PhD researcher is supported by an individual advisory committee comprising the thesis supervisor and one additional advisor. This committee will advise, guide, and support the candidate in all aspects of academic progress.
