First Weeks in Bochum

The Welcome Centre of Ruhr University Bochum provides support for international researchers, offering guidance and assistance on topics essential to preparing for and managing your stay in Bochum. They assist with planning your visit, handling arrival formalities, and securing housing.

To access these services, foreign doctoral candidates should register with the Welcome Centre as soon as they have been accepted for a doctoral position or a scholarship.
