Application

The International Graduate School of Neuroscience offers an Online Application (see link below).

The application process consists of three parts:

  1. Online application (If the online application is closed, please contact the coordinator, Mrs. Ursula Heiler, at heiler-igsn@rub.de for further information.)
  2. Completion of cover sheet and other relevant documents after successful online application
  3. Submission of two recommendation letters

1. Online Application

Before starting your application, we strongly recommend preparing the following details to copy and paste into the online form:

2. Completion of Application Cover Sheet

After completing the online application form, you will receive an acknowledgment of your application by email and will be asked to download an application cover sheet. Please:

  1. Print the cover sheet.
  2. Fill in the relevant information.
  3. Return it with copies of the relevant certificates and degrees before the application deadline. (Translations into German or English are required.)

3. Submission of Two Recommendation Letters

Forward the referee report form (PDF format) to two academic teachers of your choice (those you named in the online application) who are able to evaluate your personality, academic experience, and intellectual merit.
